Spring wreath workshop with Kathy Hutton Prints & Tracey of Mrs Mosley’s Posies
We’d like to invite you to join us both for a day of creating two of our favourite spring projects. The workshop will take place at Kathy’s home & studio in Wiltshire.
We welcome you with a hot drink and homemade cake at 10am.
After a brief introduction, Kathy will then demonstrate and discuss the printing process that we will use to mono-print a one of a kind spring wreath, sharing her techniques and tips which she uses for her signature style of characterful and quirky lines.
There will be time to practise the technique, experimenting with mark making and drawing in ink; using seasonal foliage and blossoms for inspiration, before embarking on your own final print, Kathy will be on hand to guide and assist.
We will then break for a quiock lunch break.
After lunch, Tracey will guide you through the steps to create a beautiful dried flower wreath using mostly local grown and British grown flowers, foliage and grasses that she has dried in her studio. Ribbons in a choice of colours can be used to finish your wreath.
The workshop will finish at 2pm
All materials are Included.
A selection of hot and cold drinks and homemade cakes will be provided but please bring your own lunch.
