Please join us for a watercolor workshop sponsored by The Arts Council with Abi Brewer on March 4th from 6 to 8 pm! Abi often draws upon experiences from her past to create her paintings. Whether it's fairytales she grew up with, Chinese traditions her mother tenderly passed down, or reflections on her experiences as a classical ballet dancer, she references pieces of herself through her whimsical portrayals of nature, culture, and movement. She calls herself a mixed-media painter because she can never choose just one painting medium—she loves them all! Instead, she is constantly inspired by the different combinations of media she uses such as watercolor, fabric, oil, resin, and gold leaf.
Learn how to draw and paint an adorable spring bunny! All supplies are included and the class is beginner-friendly.
