PLEASE BOOK TICKETS ON THE ATHENAEUM TICKETSOURCE PAGE FOR THIS CONCERTTrio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert at the Athenaeum on the first Friday afternoon of each month at 3.00pm: informal music events in the community, with a pop-up café serving home-made cakes, where you can meet friends for a chat after the concert (c3.45 - 4.15pm)
April’s programme is inspired by the season of spring and includes the recently rediscovered Trio by Austrian Jewish composer Carl Frühling, Gaubert Spring Morning and works by Cécile Chaminade, Ivor Gurney, Frank Bridge and others.
Concerts last c45mins and entrance (or rather, exit!) is by donation, with a retiring collection.
