Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert at St Andrew’s Church on the first Tuesday of each month at 11am: informal music events with a pop-up café from 10.30 where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes.April’s programme is inspired by the season of spring and includes the recently rediscovered Trio in Am by Austrian Jewish composer Carl Frühling, ‘D’un matin de printemps’ by Lili Boulanger, and arrangements of songs by Cécile Chaminade, Ivor Gurney and others.
Concerts last c45m and entrance - or rather, exit! - is by donation, with a retiring collection. An RSVP via our website, www.trioparadis.com, is much appreciated but not essential.
