About this Event
Open Studio is for artists who are experienced in clay and have completed at least one 8-week ceramic class at the Concho Clay Studio, so they are familiar with our clay systems and studio rules. Participants are expected to work without instructor assistance and must be self-sufficient in their understanding of clay, tools, glazes, and other materials.
Late Winter Session Open Studio
SCHEDULE:
Tuesdays 10 am – 2 pm
Wednesdays 10 am – 2 pm
Thursdays 10 am – 2 pm
Fridays 10 am – 3 pm & 4 pm – 9 pm
Saturdays 10 am – 2 pm
Open Studio may occasionally be unavailable, please check ahead.
IMPORTANT:
Open Studio access is included in all 4–8-week courses - if you are signed up for one of these classes, you do not need to register for Open Studio.
Tools are provided during open studio. All clay must be purchased from the studio. Firings and access to glazes are included. Only studio-approved glazes provided are permitted to be used. Staff are available for questions or concerns only.
There are no discounted or prorated options for open studio passes if you sign up later in the session.
PLEASE NOTE:
This class is for adults 18 years or older. Students of 16 years or above may take the course if accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also registered for the class. If you are interested in children's programming, please visit https://www.samfa.org/education-at-samfa.
Only one ticket may be purchased at a time. Please use the name and contact information for the student taking the course if you are purchasing a ticket for another person.
