Welcome to Spoken Word ELEVATED
We are more than just a poetry event that gathers 1st Wedsnesdays of each month. Each event has Open Mic, vendor shopping to support local businesses, good food, drinks & music! We ELEVATE Art + Culture + Therapy as well as small businesses. The ambiance and community is EVERYTHING, giving all the vibes! Each month brings a twist with new poets, singers, and over all talent right here in our city of Indianapolis, Indiana.

We are excited to announce that Spoken Word Elevated & Speak On It Media is partnering with Anidaso 360 to travel to Ghana, West Africa on December 26, 2024 - January 4, 2025. The trip is called, “Sankofa 360: The ELEVATED Experience."
Together we will empower individuals of African descent through holistic development encompassing spiritual, mental, physical, and psychosocial well-being. “Sankofa 360: The ELEVATED Experience,” facilitates transformative experiences to ELEVATE art, culture, and therapy for Creatives, Business Owners and Advocates of the Arts, to foster a deep connection with our cultural ancestry to realize our fullest potential in Ghana, West Africa.
