Spring is a time of renewal – an opportunity to connect and honour qualities of light and life emerging. Aligning with the flow of spring to awaken and inspire our life force. This retreat will gently explore a weaving of both inner and outer landscapes, deepening interconnection from a place of grounding in our whole bodies in a supportive container of community. We will explore eco-embodiment as a lived experience and presence practice of mind-body connection through various forms such as movement, meditation, guided land practice, wisdom teachings, contemplation, silence, mindfulness and creative forms that inspire curiosity and opening to the local ecological life forms. Time will be punctuated with space for rest, being, and spontaneous exploration.
Themes of belonging, resilience and reciprocity will be explored through exchange and reflection. An intention of the retreat is to prepare the soil of our being with care for our roots to ground and weather the times we are in.
We will enjoy wholesome healthy meals, a nearby waterfall, pure clean water, guided thermal cycling of hot and cold exposure, community sauna practice, cleansing plant and tree rituals, elemental connection, integration, and community as practice.
Teachings from Robin Wall Kimmerer, Tricia Hersey, and Thich Nhat Hanh will support and guide the retreat. A short intake process will be provided along with optional study and preparations leading up to the retreat.
