Join Karly Loveling and Ian Love in a celebration of Spring, community, and song. We'll stoke the fires of joy, love, and renewal through fun and accessible songs that nurture the heart and inspire the spirit. All songs are taught by ear and all voices are welcome in this reclaiming of human power and vulnerability through community singing.
Karly Loveling is a seasoned songleader, songwriter, and a permissionary of heartfelt expression. She regularly leads Singing Heart Harmonies, in Eugene, Or as part of the Ubuntu Choir Network, and offers classes and workshops online, at Community Singing gatherings, and retreats. Her often playful, meaningful, layered songs are companions for songleaders from Appalachia to Ireland. Ian Love is a mystic who makes music for the enjoyment and nourishment of our ever-expanding hearts. His songwriting weaves together the influences of 60's/70's pop, folk, song circles, and the ancient tradition of the fireside jam. His songs are written with the intention to remind us of our inherent belonging to the earth, each other, and all beings. To uplift the joy, honor the grief, and foster community resilience in these unprecedented times. He is based out of the Cascadia Bioregion, in what has been named Portland, OR.
