Advanced registration is required for both children and adults.By the light of the rising moon, join us for a quiet hike to connect with nature and the sounds of an early spring night. Let your eyes adjust to the moonlight and experience the park after dark. The Spring Moonlight Hike will happen even with overcast sky or light rain. In case of severe weather, program will be cancelled and refunded. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. This hike takes place on paved and unpaved trails. Insect repellent is recommended. Park and meet at Shelter 8 in Shawnee Mission Park. Warm up after the hike with a fire at the shelter. Every person attending must register and pay, including adults.
