About this Event
In the leadup to The Hatch, bird enthusiasts and nature lovers are invited to join ArtYard and Brad Klein for a Spring Migration Bird Walk!
Brad will lead participants on a 90-minute bird walk, staying on mostly flat and well-traveled paths. The bird walks are open to everyone and all skill levels. Check the weather and dress for comfort.
Brad has decades of experience introducing others to the pleasures of observing birds, bats, and bugs. He lived in NYC for most of his years where he worked as a journalist. In 2019, he moved to Pennsylvania, where he lives with wife, Danielle Gustafson, and a dog named Beau. He is the host of Morning Edition on NPR News station, WLVR.
Participants will gather at 9 AM at ArtYard, and Brad will lead the walk along the river concluding at 10:30 AM.
Participants should bring binoculars if they have them!
Bird walks take place on Saturday, April 26 and May 3.
