Friends of Iowa CASA and ICFCRB is thrilled to welcome former foster youth, attorney, and New York Times best-selling author Andrew Bridge to Des Moines as this year's Spring Light of Hope keynote speaker.
Mr. Bridge grew up in placement in Los Angeles County from the time he was 6 until he turned 18. Despite the instability he experienced in childhood, he attended Wesleyan on a full-ride scholarship and ultimately graduated from Harvard Law School. Today, he is an attorney and advocate for children in placement and at-risk situations.
The 2025 Spring Light of Hope will be April 8 at Embassy Club West in West Des Moines. As in years past, this breakfast fundraiser is free to attend and all are welcome, though we request attendees register for breakfast. See you at the Club!
