Pastels are portable, colorful and versatile! This workshop is an introduction into this fun medium; with no drawing experience needed for this simple still life. All materials are included!Workshop fee is $35.

Students, who would rather pay in-person, just need to go to Impressions Fine Art at 246 Broad Street, Kingsport. We are open Wednesday-Saturday from 11-5pm.
This workshop is a partnership with Engage Kingsport and funded under contract by the State of Tennessee, Tennessee Art Commission.
Meet the Instructor: Christy Ward
Christy Alexander Ward is a southeastern fine artist currently based in Fall Branch, Tennessee. Her drawings are figurative-based with surrealistic imagery and nature elements. She is constantly experimenting with her drawings, including ink, pastels, acrylics, mixed media, and recently watercolor batiking. Christy’s artwork often appears in local shows, and competitions, as well as, private and public collections. Her work, also, is located at the Impressionist Gallery in Kingsport Tennessee.
