About this Event
The Crater Health District in partnership with Prince George County (Virginia) is bringing the community a resource fair meant to promote trust and resilience through care, support, and resources. The purpose of this event is to build trust and promote community resilience by connecting community members to care, support, education, and resources. There will be focuses on facilitating healthy lifestyles by providing access to healthy food and exercise, chronic disease prevention, maternal health education, overdose prevention, mental health support, and practicing emergency preparedness.
The Spring into Great Health event is being held on April 12th, 2025, from 10 AM to 1 PM at Prince George High School located at: 7801 Laurel Spring Rd, Prince George, VA 23875.
It will feature over 50 community organizations, free health screenings, and locals speakers and workshops focused on topics such as mental health, maternal health, and overdose prevention. There will be food trucks, entertainment, a grocery giveaway, and a family friendly day filled with activities for all ages.
