DETAILS:

If you are a high school student who loves to write or edit, and you’re looking for an internship in the the areas of writing, editing, publishing, leadership, art, or community-building, please join us this spring for our Spring Internship Program. DATES: Thursday, March 7, 21,28, and April 4, 11, 18.

Women Writing for (a) Change Jacksonville has been offering high school internships since the spring of 2020, with many positive connections and experiences as a result. We focus not only on writing, but also what it means to lead through the lens of conscious feminine values.

This internship will consist of two in-person circles in Riverside plus four Zoom circles. Interns will not only develop their writing skills, but also will have an opportunity to assist with our Spring Book Festival. The writing will focus on the theme of our next anthology, titled “Metamorphosis: The Art of (a) Change.” Interns will receive community service hours and a small stipend.

This circle will be facilitated by Anna Jacobson, a award-winning high school teacher, and Jennifer Wolfe, Executive Director. Open to anyone who identifies as young woman. We will create a supportive, non-threatening environment for all who participate.
