Spring is in full swing. Join our ambassadors as we search for the spring blooms of the prickly pear cactus, milkweed, pinelands heather and more during a 3.5-4 mile guided hike. These trails are primarily soft sand with slight elevations, roots, and stumps and some wet areas. Porta Potty is available at the beginning and end of hike.DATE: Saturday, April 12, 2025
TIME: 10:00am to 12:00pm (Meet at the welcome table at 9:30 am to check in.)
WHERE TO MEET: Bortons Road Trailhead
WHAT TO WEAR: Dress for the weather and bring a water bottle. Hiking boots, sturdy shoes, or waterproof boots are recommended.
DETAILS: This is a social/informational hike to familiarize participants with the trails of the Black Run Preserve and the Friends of the Black Run Preserve community.
