About this Event

Wednesdays, 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.
April 9 – May 14 (6 classes)

Spring Forest Qigong is based on the simple yet profound understanding that everything in the universe is energy. Many people think of energy in a very limited way. They think of energy as being electricity or the gasoline that powers their car. Electricity and gasoline are indeed forms of energy, but everything in the universe is also a form of energy. The ancient Chinese scholars called this universal energy qi or chi. In China, the study and practice of transforming the energy (qi) to live a life of optimum health, wellness, and happiness came to be called qigong.

Spring Forest Qigong is a revolutionary approach to the ancient Chinese teachings, revised and enhanced for the 21st Century. While preserving the authentic practice of Qigong, Grand Qigong Master, Chunyi Lin created Spring Forest Qigong to help everyone live a life of optimal health, wellness, and happiness. Anyone and everyone (regardless of ability, age, or beliefs) can practice its techniques to start their healing physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and to become healthier and happier.

  • Week 3: We then focus on the Digestive system to address the Stomach, Spleen, and Pancreas, and explore how to move the energy to bring in Peace.
  • Week 4: We now focus on the Lungs and Large Intestine system to explore how to move and bring in Contentment.
  • Week 5: Lastly, we now focus on the Kidney and Bladder system to explore how to move the energy and to bring in Gratitude.
  • Week 6: Summarize how the changing seasons and various body systems function in response to the seasons, and how we can help heal during the seasonal changes.
