Join us in person at Garfield Park Conservatory for a 30-minute tour of our 2023 Spring Flower Show: Bee’s Knees!
About this Event

Join a GPCA staff member for a tour through this spring exhibit featuring blooming spring bulbs such as tulips, daffodils, and hyacinth alongside hydrangeas, delphiniums, azaleas, and more. Empty observation and demo hives from GPC’s beekeeping program are also set amongst the blooms, giving a glimpse into the world of a bee.

Your tour will include information about the plants, history, and behind-the-scenes work that goes into creating the Spring Flower Show. It will also include a brief walk through our Palm House. This tour is intended for adults, but children accompanied by an adult are welcome to join.

Accommodations: When you register for this tour you will be asked to provide any accommodations requests. If you have any questions or would like to request an additional accommodation, please contact [email protected] at least 72 hours prior to the event start.

Please read our updated Covid-19 protocols (link opens in a new tab).

Registration ends March 27th at 5:00pm CST. Please note: This tour requires a minimum of 3 attendees by the registration deadline listed. If the minimum is not met, the tour will be cancelled with at least 36 hour's notice and refunds given to the registered participants.
