Spring Equinox Flow & Sound Bath: A Journey of RenewalMarch 20th | 6:00 PM
Join us for a special yoga and sound bath experience to celebrate the Spring Equinox, a time of balance and renewal. We will flow through a series of Sun Salutations, incorporating optional balance poses to awaken and energize the body.
As an alternative to the traditional 108 Sun Salutations, this workshop offers some creativity as you flow! We will lead a sequence of 108 mindful movements, combining sun salutations, balance poses, stretching, and anything the body craves within our time together. *The 108 sun salutations will still be led for those who wish to do so.
Tiffany and Bea will each lead in the options so that the class can creatively find individual inspiration in their flows and poses as well as group empowerment in our connected energy.
The Spring Equinox marks the moment when day and night are of equal length, symbolizing balance and harmony. This is a time of rebirth and renewal, a time to shed the old and embrace the new.
Why a Sound Bath & Flow?
*Flow: Sun Salutations are a dynamic practice that increases circulation, strengthens the core, and promotes flexibility.
*Mindful Movements: 108 mindful movements offer a more introspective approach, focusing on the present moment and cultivating inner awareness.
*Balance: We'll incorporate optional balance poses to challenge and awaken your inner strength and stability. Stretching may also be incorporated as we will feel into what the group is craving and feeling and move with the moment. You will have two instructors in the front of the room to guide you, if you would like, at all times.
*Sound Bath: The soothing vibrations of the sound bath will create a space of deep relaxation and inner peace, allowing you to integrate the energy of the Equinox. This is also a way to cleanse and release before starting a new season.
Expect:
- A rejuvenating yoga flow or 108 mindful movements - allowing you to really connect and listen to your own body
- Optional balance and stretching poses to challenge and strengthen
- A deeply relaxing sound bath
- Cooling towels to enhance your relaxation
