About this Event
Come join us for a fun-filled day at the Waʻahila Ridge State Recreation Area to celebrate the Spring Equinox! This event is perfect for families with keiki (children) of all ages. We'll have nature-based activities to welcome the changing of the seasons, along with a special **Intuitive Art** session where children can express themselves creatively through guided art practices. This class encourages self-expression, mindfulness, and connection to nature through colors, textures, and imagination. This will be lead by an amazing art therapist, fellow mama, and lovely human being, Chelsea Leitner. This is such a special treat!!
As Kula Mana Wellness, we love bringing events to our community that are immersed in nature. We are a women-owned small business with a focus on mindfulness, community connection, and ultimately healing together. We create events based on mental health and wellness.
It's a great opportunity for kids to learn about nature, honor ritual, and enjoy the trees! Don't miss out on this special gathering to mark the beginning of Spring and the end of Winter! See you there!
Please Bring:
- Your sweet spirit of love & creation
- blanket or mat to sit on
- snacks and water
- any flowers or leaves from your neighborhood or garden to contribute to our Spring Equinox nature mandala!
- towel and change of clothes(if needed)to clean up after art and play!
