We are excited to announce another Compost Giveaway to kickoff International Compost Awareness Week 2024. Go Green HP is working with the City of Highland Park, SWALCO and the Park District of Highland Park to bring a truckload of beautiful, nutrient rich, locally made compost for residents to use to amend garden beds, lawns and more, all for free. Meet a local resident who is composting with the help of worms, a vermicomposter. Our Habitat HP team will be on hand to help you get started or complete your NWF certification. Maximum of 20 gallons per household. Please bring your own buckets. Shovels provided. Compost is available while supply lasts.
