An event held right here in Hamilton, catering to board game enthusiasts that wish to buy, sell or trade their games ? Its Spring time, so time to clear those shelves of unplayed games!What is Melting Moments Games Market all about?
A chance to sell or trade your board games, card games or dice games that don’t get table time anymore! AND buy second hand games that are on offer ? We’ll also have space to play games AND if you have any unopened games you want to unbox/unwrap for the first time and share the experience with others, we welcome you to do so!
When is the event?
Sunday 29th September from 4pm to 7pm
(If you are wanting to sell your games please arrive a little earlier for set-up or if you’d like your own table please let us know)
Where will the Games Market be held?
At Melting Moment, 699A Wairere Drive, Chartwell, Hamilton (free parking available in our parking lot)
Is there a schedule?
Not really! Just a relaxed afternoon/evening, the market begins at 4pm and ends at around 7pm - buyers/sellers/traders stay for as long as desired during these times, games can be played simultaneously at one of our many tables too! We encourage it!
If I’m selling or trading, how does it work?
If you have enough items for a table flick us a message and we'll allocate a table for you. If you have 5 or less items you are welcome to combine them at our big table and we'll sell on your behalf - we’ll simply clearly mark each game - labels will be provided. A registration fee of $5 applies to all those selling or trading on arrival (no fee if you’re just buying) ?
I just want to look around and see the games or possibly buy them, is that ok?
Of course, buyers are welcome to browse and talk with those selling/trading games, regardless if they have games to sell or trade themselves.
How do I pay for a game I’m buying?
Cash is preferred, cash out is available in store, and change can be provided.
Can I buy food and drinks during the event? Yes! However only our snack menu will be on offer from 4pm onwards, but our full drink menu will be available ? including hot drinks, cold drinks and bubble tea ?
