The Makings
The Makings are a Bristol-based outfit, with overtones as diverse as jazz and blues, but rooted in rock, funk and soul. They offer big, brash sounds that bring something different to the Bristol music scene and beyond. Pushing boundaries rather than being confined by them, The Makings' deep-groove sound coalesces around jazz-tinged shuffles, bluesy guitar riffs and harmonious vocal stylings, all locked together by a fluid yet rock-solid rhythm section. And this synergy fuses with raw lyricism unafraid to confront life’s darkest moments and find the light within them. This is refreshingly candid songwriting and the result is both intriguing and uplifting.

Kelston is heating up with the arrival of the Pica Pica collective. Pica! Pica! is a global music collective that’s set to take us on a musical journey through Latin America, Africa and the Caribbean with DJs, percussion and full tropical vibes! Brace yourselves for some epic global beats, a Balearic sundowner and some sizzling hot afters !!
