We invite you to join us at our annual spring bbq March 15th. This year our event will be at the Cooperative Extension office in Newton. Tickets are currently available to purchase through any Cattlemen’s member. The cost is $20 per plate, which includes beef bbq, pinto beans, slaw, bread and a drink. Children 6 and under are free. We ask that you purchase a ticket in advance this year so we may plan accordingly. There will be a limited amount of plates at the door. We will have a limited amount of sit down seating available. Desserts will be for sale for an additional $2 which all proceeds go towards our scholarship fund. This year we were able to support our local 4H group, along with sponsoring several livestock shows within our community. We hope for a successful event to be able to support more agricultural events within our community.
