Adoro Ensemble presents Spring Awakenings – A Madrigal Affair, an evocative, musical exploration of love’s most enthralling dimensions—seduction, passion, and unrestrained desire. The first half of the program teases and entices with the playful sensuality of Renaissance madrigals and contemporary works, capturing the thrill of pursuit and the intoxication of longing. The second half culminates in Brahms’ Liebeslieder Waltzes, Op. 52, a masterful portrayal of love’s ecstasy and torment. Set to Daumer’s poetry, these waltzes weave voices and piano in a mesmerizing dance of flirtation, yearning, and rapturous devotion.
