The winner of eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical, told by Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater, Spring Awakening explores the journey from adolescence to adulthood with a poignancy and passion that is illuminating and unforgettable. The landmark musical is an electrifying fusion of morality, sexuality and rock & roll that exhilarates audiences around the world.
In 1891 Germany, repressed adolescent students stumble into adulthood as clumsily as they do into each other’s arms. With parents unwilling to guide them, young Melchior and Wendla explore their desires for one another, while Melchior’s friend, Moritz, fumbles with his own coming-of-age story. Join this group of late nineteenth century German students on their passage as they navigate teenage self-discovery and coming of age anxiety in a powerful celebration of youth and rebellion in the daring, remarkable Spring Awakening.
Please note, there will be no late seating.
