Youth Choir of Wilmington is in its 28th year in the Cape Fear Community. Calling out to all kids who want to sing: We are inviting singers of all genders in 4th - 12th grades with treble voices to join us for an exceptional musical experience, no experience necessary!Visit our website to sign up for an audition or for more information about our ensemble - www.YouthChoirOfWilmington.org
- No previous singing experience is required to participate.
- Auditions are very simple and conducted as a group. Each singer will be asked to sing scales to determine vocal range (Soprano vs Alto).
- Singers do not need to prepare audition music. They will likely be asked to sing a simple tune, like Happy Birthday or Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to determine the ability to match pitch.
- Walk-ins are welcomed, though singers are encouraged to complete an singer audition information form in advance through the YCW website.
- Singers are asked to audition and then stay for our weekly 5:30-7pm rehearsal.
