Spring 2026 New String Personnel Auditions

The Lubbock Civic Orchestra announces Open Auditions for New STRING Personnel. Auditions will take place on Tuesday, February 3 in the Band Hall (Rm. 011) on the campus of Texas Tech University.

The Lubbock Civic Orchestra was established with the intention of bringing great orchestral music to the community with free concerts and outreach programs, while also providing community musicians a platform for utilizing their talents for service to Lubbock and the surrounding areas. Lubbock Civic Orchestra is partnered and supported by Texas Tech University with an educational mission to reach the community of Lubbock as an artistic ensemble.
Rehearsals are each Tuesday evening from 7:30-9:00pm at TTU with concerts in the fall and spring. Learn more on our website and Facebook pages. Spring 2026 rehearsals begin Tuesday, Tuesday, February 10.
