Come join us for this FREE event for plant lovers and garden enthusiasts alike! It is that time of year again when we share our plants with our neighbors to make our community even more beautiful! All plant types are welcome! Indoor plants, edible plants, exotic plants, native species and even seeds are welcome! YOU DO NOT NEED TO BRING PLANTS TO GET PLANTS! ALL ARE WELCOME!
The event date is Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 9:00am – 12:00pm and will be held at the pavilion at Big Bear Park in White City. Tables in the pavilion will have labels for the different types of plant categories and a potting station with free potting soil will be provided for those with bare root plants. We will hold a plant raffle with locally donated prizes for those who bring plants to the swap and wish to participate. Think of this event as one large community plant sharing event. Once your plants hit those tables, they become free for everyone. No selling of plants is allowed and please be courteous to others! Plant pots and potting soil are supplied on site.
Raffle rules:
• Receive 1 ticket for bringing a plant. Receive an additional ticket for every 10 plants beyond 1st plant.
• Place ticket with your name and contact information in tub in front of Raffle items.
• Drawing of tickets will happen at 11:30am – must be present to win.
