2025 Spring Orange Blossom Ball
Join us for the Fall Orange Blossom Ball!

Attendees: Homeschool students & their guest (ages 12+)
Get ready for a night of fun, laughter, and dancing at the 2025 Spring Orange Blossom Ball. This in-person formal event for homeschool and small private school students ages 12+ will take place at the beautiful Hardee County Civic Center located in Wauchula, FL. Jane Austen Era ballroom dances will be taught during the event and will include the Virginia Reel, Carolina Promenade, Trip to Paris, Spanish Waltz, Duke of Kent Waltz, and Waterfall Waltz. Participation requirements may be found below. Dress up and put on your dancing shoes because we're going to have a blast!
Ball Details
Participants (Students, 12+)
Attendees are encouraged to participate in the dances throughout the evening. Joining in the dances, socializing with friends in the common areas, and treating each other respectfully will ensure an enjoyable event for all! Participation is consent to being photographed and videoed, which may be posted to social media.
Parents (Chaperones)
Parents are welcome to attend and opportunities to serve can be selected during ticket purchase. We appreciate all the help we can get to make this event so wonderful! Hors d’oeuvres
Families are expected to bring a sweet or savory homemade (not store bought) finger food on a serving platter. Utensils not provided. Mark your platter accordingly for retrieval at the end of the event.
If your last name starts with A-M, please bring a homemade savory treat.
If your last name starts with N-Z, please bring a homemade sweet treat.
Ball Attire
It is our desire to show respect towards one another and dress elegantly for this particular event. Please use your judgment with modesty in mind for anything not explicitly stated here.
Ladies of all ages are REQUIRED to wear:
- Ankle-length or floor-length dresses (NO high/low)
- Dresses with modest necklines and shoulder straps
- Dress shoes for dancing. Please keep this in mind when choosing a shoe.
This form of dance is beautiful & athletic. Please assess your dress while moving your arms in all directions as well as twirling, bending, hunching, or turning quickly. Modesty panels will be available for purchase at the door for necklines out of compliance.
Gentlemen of all ages are REQUIRED to wear:
- Semi-formal/formal clothing
- Long sleeve collared shirts, ties, dress slacks, and dress shoes (at a minimum)
- Vests, sport coats, suits, or tuxedos (encouraged)
Dress code will be checked prior to entry. The following WILL NOT be allowed:
- Sneakers or crocs
- T-shirts or denim jeans
- Strapless or high slit dresses
- Trains or hoops as these can cause someone to trip and be injured
- See-through or revealing clothing (e.g. cleavage, midriff, or open back)
