Join Commerce Lexington for the next Opportunity Exchange, presented by Equity Solutions Group on Thursday, March 20, from 4:30–6:30 p.m. at its first-floor conference room (330 East Main Street). This event provides valuable networking opportunities for minority-owned and small businesses in the Lexington region. Attendees can connect with procurement representatives from some of the area's largest companies, exchange ideas, and build meaningful business relationships. At some point, every small business will need financing—whether to launch, grow, or sustain operations. Once a business plan is in place, securing funding can be challenging, particularly in today’s economic climate. However, the right strategies can help business owners navigate financial opportunities effectively.
The March 20 Opportunity Exchange will feature a panel discussion on the State of Small Business Lending with local banking experts. They will share key insights and answer questions about financing options, including Commerce Lexington’s Access Loan Program, which connects businesses with banks and financial institutions.
Additionally, Commerce Lexington’s Community and Minority Business Development (CMBD) Program supports the growth and success of minority-owned businesses. CMBD works to attract and assist minority entrepreneurs in the Lexington area, providing business referrals and connecting them with relevant support agencies.
The cost to attend is $5 for Commerce Lexington Inc. members, and $10 for potential members. For questions, please email Falon McFarland.
