SPRING 2025 Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) – 8-Week Program
IN-PERSON – 203 York Street, Sudbury, ON (St. Peter’s United Church)

• Orientation & Registration – Tuesday Evenings (6:00–8:30 PM EDT)
• Weekly Classes – April 29 – June 17 (Tuesdays, 6:00–8:30 PM EDT)
• All-Day Session – Saturday, June 7 (8:00 AM–3:00 PM EDT)
ABOUT MBSR
Developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn, MBSR is an evidence-based 8-week program (31 hours of instruction) taught by qualified MBSR teachers. This experiential training provides tools in mindfulness meditation and movement practices to integrate into daily life.

TEACHERS
Gary Petingola and Sheila Damore-Petingola are Masters-prepared Social Workers, trained through the Center for Mindfulness (UMASS) and Brown University. Founders of Mindfulness on the Rocks, they offer evidence-based mindfulness programs across Canada. Gary is a published author and international speaker, and Sheila has expertise in Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness and is faculty at NOSM University.
REGISTRATION & FUNDING
• Fee: $475 (e-transfer accepted)
• Insurance Coverage: Check with your provider (MSW, RSW credentialed)
• Deposit: $25 non-refundable processing fee applied to registration
• Funding: Regulated Healthcare Workers in Northeastern Ontario may be eligible for a $200 grant from Health Sciences North.
