Please join us for the Spring session of our Backyard Habitat Certification Program. Over the course of four in-person meetings, we will guide you through the hows, whys, wheres, and whens, of ecological landscape design for your specific property. Upon completion of the program, you will have learned how to provide sustainable sources of food, water, and habitat for wildlife. Other topics covered include: natural communities, invasive species, native plant selection, and soil health. Not only will you be helping the environment, but you will also qualify to become an official Oakland Conservation District Certified Wildlife Habitat, complete with yard signage.

Limited capacity, preregistration required, $80 per person attending. Please bring a laptop or tablet to the class.
