Leads are needed and strongly encouraged to join, but anyone 12+ is welcome to join the training appropriate for their level and comfort, learning salsa, Cuban, and Latin dance techniques in a choreographic format. After the training, you also have the option to perform!
In general, rehearsals are between 12 pm - 3 pm on Sundays, although the exact timing depends on which (and how many) routines you join. We begin with an advanced level Cuban rumba and salsa suelta routine, then shift to working on an intermediate level casino (Cuban salsa) routine with popular dances and rueda de casino, and finally we end our Spring 2025 program with a new routine to be determined. Start dates: January 12, February 23, April 6, depending on which routine(s) you learn. Starting cost: $90 flat & up, depending on involvement.
If performing, there is a dress rehearsal on Saturday, May 10 and our performance weekend is May 16-18.
