Mark your calendars for May 11th as it will be our first Guadalupe River Clean Up of the year! The event starts at 9:00 A.M. at Lazy L&L Campgrounds As a chapter, it is imperative that we take care of our home water – even when others do not. This will be a great chance to reconnect with other members and, after a little trash-grabbing, make the Guadalupe River an even more picturesque place to fish! Barbecue and drinks will be provided at the end of the event. We will meet at L&L at 8:30, go over safety protocols, distribute bags and get to our assigned areas and make a HUGE dent in the trash on and in the river!
You MUST check in at the office at L&L for parking instructions. No exceptions.
Please bring gloves, sunscreen, waders or shoes and clothes you are willing to get wet and dirty, an awesome attitude and let’s have some fun! Everyone is welcome regardless of whether you are a member or not. We’ll be grilling for everyone after the cleanup and will have plenty for everyone after the cleanup. BRING YOUR OWN CAMP CHAIR!
If you have a canoe/kayak/raft and want to float the cleanup, you are welcome to do so. You'll need to bring your own watercraft, we are not providing them.
