School of Rock Princeton presents Classic Soul. This end of season performance is put on by our Performance Program students who have been working all season in their weekly group rehearsal and private lessons. The Performance Program at School of Rock is our hallmark music program, where tens of thousands of students across the world enroll each year. Students are assigned songs and parts in their weekly group rehearsal that are tailored to them based on their age, experience and ability to learn new skills and concepts. These musicians then work through their parts in weekly private music lessons with their instructors, refining the skills and concepts that those songs introduce. The goal of this curriculum is to teach music through the process of preparing for live performances, so at the end of each season,Performance students take the stage and play at local Mercer County music venues in front of a live audience.
