In this 4-hour workshop (split into 2 sessions) you will discover the art of Sprigged decorations with Associate Artist Neville Tatham creating intricate low-relief designs.
You will learn the essential techniques of sculpting and casting your own unique sprigs. You will create a personalised mould that can be used repeatedly to produce multiple sprigs, allowing you to adorn your ceramic creations with exquisite detail.

About the Associate Artist
Neville studied 3D Design in the early '90s, specialising in ceramics. He honed his skills through production and teaching, focusing on the environmentally-friendly Slipware technique using local clays. Now based in Essex, Neville creates functional pottery inspired by traditional European rural styles. Each piece is hand-thrown and raw-fired, highlighting the natural beauty of terracotta clay.
