We're thrilled to invite you to the ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of the upstairs of Mr. Spots, now known as Spots Up Top! In 2024, Mr. Spots' CEO, Jimmy Gavarone, embarked on a journey to transform their upstairs space into a permanent bar. This new addition is designed to be a cozy, relaxed spot to meet friends, catch your favorite game, or enjoy a show. This new space features a full bar and back bar area, multiple televisions and a projector, and of course a fantastic sound system!
Mr. Spots first opened its doors on February 17, 1986. Founded by Jim Gavarone, a former BGSU student and Philadelphia native, the restaurant was born from a love for authentic cheesesteaks and wings. Now, as they celebrate 40 years of serving the BG community, they are excited to open Spots Up Top, inspired by the vibrant gathering spaces of downtown Philadelphia.
