Songwriter Magnus Ernst blends the charm and attitude of 70s folk rock with contemporary influences of modern indie pop. His English lyrics deal with love and loss, the search for romance in a fast-paced world, the hope of finding happiness between drunken nights and tough, hot summer days.
Between his own songs, the multi-instrumentalist always mixes in covers from Tom Petty to Amy Winehouse.
Magnus has played hundreds of gigs across Europe in recent years - at festivals, in pubs, in surf camps, at weddings or as support for the Felice Brothers.
In addition to his solo programme, he is also the leader of the indie band Rathmann and can be seen playing bass at concerts with the band Fullax.
