The world's fastest growing sport kicks off the SI Women's Games with a format designed to ensure an exciting competition. With flag superstars Diana Flores and Vanita Krouch leading the way, Team Americas will play a Team World headed by Great Britain's Phoebe Schecter and Australia's Kodie Fuller in a three game set. Each game carries points for the winning team which are weighted to ensure that the final game decides the night including a possible sudden death playoff in the case of a tie.
The SI Women’s Games is an all-women’s international all-star team competition featuring teams of elite athletes from the Americas against teams from the Rest of the World competing in different sports for the SI Women’s Games championship. The purpose behind the Games is to shine a light on women’s sports and the impact of female athletes on sports and culture. The Games are planned to take place every other year. In 2025 the Games will take place in Oceanside, CA.
Event Format: the SI Women’s Games will consist of competition in seven sports over six days. Athletes will compete for prize money based on the results in their sport and the cumulative results of the Games. The SI Women’s Games will be broadcast live around the world.
