About this Event
This is a one day course that will be delivered over 2 evenings. The course will start on Tuesday 6th August 2024 at 6pm with the second half of this course concluding on Thursday 8th August 2024 at 6pm.
The content of this course is;
- Scene safety & casualty assessment
- Making the emergency call
- CPR and Rescue breaths techniques ( On Adult & Child)
- Use of a defibrillator
- Strains,sprains & dislocations
- Fractures
- Wounds & Bleeding
- Dealing with concussion & unconsciousness
- Seizures
- Spinal injury
Certification: Tribes First Aid Certificate for 2 years.
Date/Time: Tuesday 6th August and Thursday 8th August from 6pm until approx 9.30pm
Location: The Connacht Hotel, Dublin Road, Galway
Price: €50 plus booking fee
Max 12 attendees per instructor. (Participant age 16 years plus)
