Join local craftswoman and spoon carver Fay Jones in the woods and hand carve your own spoons and spatulas to take home with you.Price includes all tools and materials on the day.
If it is particularly cold, we will be working in Bradfield centre with a wood burner and a wonderful view of the woods.
We will start outside, selecting and splitting our wood, which we will then use to carve a teaspoon or desert spoon(s) with knives and spoon knives. After lunch we will use shave horses and drawknives to make a larger spoon or spatula.
Please wear suitable clothing and stout footwear.
