Spoon at the Moon 2025 - Annual Chili Cook-Off & Charity BenefitThis year's beneficiary will be for one of our own, Rebecca, our bartender that was involved in the vehicle hit & run on Green Ridge St, December 30. Funds raised will be very helpful for all her bills, loss wages, etc... so we hope to see everyone come out to support.
• 100% money raised at Moon Tavern will be donated!
• $5 donation at door = Cup, Spoon & 1 ticket to vote for People's Choice award.
• Open to EVERYONE! Do you have the Best Chili in NEPA? 'Best of' categories will include: Beef • Chicken/Poultry • Anything Goes (combined meats) • Vegetarian • Heat & Flavor • Commercial • Best Presentation & People’s Choice

The benefit will include basket raffles, 50/50 drawings and Wheel of Chance.

• $25 entry fee
• Must be set-up by 3:pm (doors open at 2:pm)
• Each entry will have an approximately 30"x30" area for their set-up/crockpot and People's Choice ticket box.
• Each attendee will receive a small sampling cup, spoon and 1 ticket to place in People's Choice ticket box.
• Unannounced/Unmarked/Unbiased Judges will taste and submit their selection for awards.
• Awards will be held directly following benefit, at approximately 7:pm. Every chili contest participant will receive a FREE t-shirt. Winners will win a custom 'wanna spoon' trophy featuring the Moon Tavern's alien and a $25 Moon Tavern gift certificate.
