A frightfully fun evening of night hikes and spooky stories! Beginning at 6:30 P.M., let our park naturalists lead you into the preserve for a night adventure on the trail. Learn of the mysterious and perhaps creepy nocturnal creatures of the woods in several stops along the way. By 8 P.M., our hike will conclude at a shelter house for a session of spooky tales as told by our friends, the RiverTown StoryTellers. Not horror stories, or gruesome, just spooky, but we do recommend ages 6 and up. Cost of admission is $8.00, cash only at the gate. Hikers are advised to wear sturdy closed-toe shoes, dress for the weather, and bring a flashlight. Meets at the Welcome Center/Warbler Road Trailhead.Contact Lisa Hoffman at 502-782-9727 or [email protected] for further details.
Stories will be moved indoors, and alternative activities implemented, in the event of inclement weather.
