This kid friendly “Spooky Spider” Workshop is a fun way to introduce plant life and gardening to your kiddos! Kids will create a spider plant pot andplant multiple baby spider plants inside. My goal is for the kids to enjoy digging in the dirt and benefit from all the joy getting hands on with nature and the soil has to offer! Baby spiders being planted range from medium to a larger size. All baby spiders have been grown for additional weeks and/ or months since removing from the mother plant, so all roots are hardy and thriving. Kids have the freedom to pick the baby spiders they want and how many they want to plant in their “spooky spider pot” . My kid friendly workshops aim to let the rules go out the window and for laughter and a little bit of learning to take place! Parents are welcome to assist toddler age participants, or they are free to leave them with Mrs. Jen! If your child is NOT potty trained or under 4 years of age, please remain on site. This is to ensure all our sweet little ones have the care they require if an accident or potty emergency arises.
Come create a beautiful, air purifying house plant just in time for the Halloween festivities!
Kids will come home with:
•Decorated spider pot planted with spider plant(s)
•plant care guide for parents to reference, as well as a kid friendly, “picture plant care guide” for the kids to easily join in on the action!
Kids will also be taught how we care for these plants once they get home!
Each child is $15 per session.
Children under four must have a parent present during the entirety of the workshop.
Three times available:
12PM -1PM (ages 2+)
1:30PM - 2:30PM (ages 2+)
4PM - 5PM (ages 5+)
