Spooky Season is upon us and WE. ARE. EXCITED!
This Halloween, we're creating a Queer-affirming space for you to get in the bat and cobweb mood with a family-friendly movie night, alongside costume shopping! What could be better?
As part of the fun, we're celebrating the one year anniversary of the Skylight Boutique, Dreams and Visions’ very own gender-affirming Thrift Store.
Swing by the Thrift Store to pick out just the right pieces for your dream costume this Halloween! Our Thrift Store is pay-what-you-can, so we can offer clothes to the whole community.
And one level down in the main space, we’ll be presenting a double feature of the queerest, kid-friendly Halloween movies out there: Hocus Pocus 2 and Wendell and Wild.
Swing by with your friends or your fam, try on some thifted clothes, snack on some popcorn and candy, and enjoy the show!
Store Open: 2-6pm
Hocus Pocus 2: 2:10pm
Wendell and Wild: 4pm

Hocus Pocus 2
Showing at 2:10 pm
It's been 29 years since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th-century sisters, and they are looking for revenge. Now it is up to three high-school students to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before dawn on All Hallow's Eve.
Rated: PG
Okay for most kids — includes scenes of magical violence, name-calling, and gross-out scenes featuring a decapitated zombie, all played for laughs, in addition to witches discussing eating children to stay young lol.

Wendell and Wild
Showing at 4pm
From the delightfully wicked minds of Henry Selick and Jordan Peele, comes Wendell & Wild, an animated tale about scheming demon brothers Wendell (Keegan-Michael Key) and Wild (Peele) -- who enlist the aid of 13-year-old Kat Elliot -- a tough teen with a load of guilt -- to summon them to the Land of the Living. But what Kat demands in return leads to a brilliantly bizarre and comedic adventure like no other, an animated fantasy that defies the law of life and death, all told through the handmade artistry of stop motion.
Rated PG-13
Okay for kids who can tolerate some scary ideas and situations. Includes a car crash in which the main character’s parents die, her desire to bring her parents back from the dead, and demons and an eerie setting.

Dreams and Visions is an LGBTQ+ rooted community. We honor your full selves, use your pronouns, and do our best to create trauma-informed spaces. Gender neutral bathrooms are available. While the lower level is accessible by ramp, the new worship space is located up a set of stairs. Please contact Vicar Mo at [email protected] if you have trouble navigating stairs, and we will work with you to create a plan.
