This beginner friendly painting workshop will give you the opportunity to paint silhouettes of ghosts, skeletons, black cats, spiderwebs, tombstones and more on top of a replica of a vintage painting! Upon arrival you will be provided with a framed print of a painting, acrylic paint, and a sample sheet of silhouettes you can add! Through it all you will be guided by your instructor, Hannah, of Owlfeathers Watercolor. This workshop is:

Unlike most painting workshops, at Owlfeathers Watercolor we do not rely on copy-after-me style instruction. Rather, we believe everyone is capable of creating unique artwork when taught the foundational techniques and skills in small group lessons, and then encouraged and supported by one-on-one individualized instruction.
Students will view paintings from at least 4-5 artists, and sometimes even prior students showing different ways the same technique or theme might be expressed through watercolor. Students are able to draw inspiration from provided artist examples, a personal photo, or their own imagination! As a result, no two paintings will be alike, as everyone finds their own artist's voice!
