The Department of Parks & Recreation invites you to register now for the annual Spooky Express 5K Walk/Run at Steele Creek Park that always provides a frighteningly good time. The 5K course begins at Shelter G and continues through Steele Creek Golf Course. Wear a costume and grab some candy as you run, then stick around for the Spooky Express Halloween Fest from 4 to 6 p.m. Early bird registration continues through Sept. 30 for $25 and includes a t-shirt.
