Welcome to the Spooky cookie decorating class at Mama Miss Art Studio!
Get ready to unleash your creativity on November 1, 2025 at 12:00 PM. Join us for a fun-filled session where you can decorate delicious cookies with a Halloween twist.
No experience needed - just bring your imagination and a sweet tooth! Don't miss out on this opportunity to learn new decorating techniques and enjoy some tasty treats.
Class will be held at Mama Miss Art Studio which is at 21631 Ridgetop Circle, Suite 255, Sterling, VA, United States, Virginia 20166 (upstairs above Ridgetop Coffee and Tea, 21631 Ridgetop Cir, Sterling, VA.)
Ever wondered what all the hype is about sugar cookies? Are they really as time consuming as they look? (yes!!)
In this 2 hour class, we'll do some piping practice with Royal Icing, and get to work on some creepy themed sugar cookies. Everything you'll need is provided at class along with a live in-person instructor – just bring a smile (and maybe an apron). Both the attending adult and the accompanying kid(s) require their own ticket for this event.
We’ll be enjoying some spooky faves for a 2 hour cookie decorating class, and trying out some new techniques to up your game ready for your holiday cookie exchanges!

This class is for kids 6+ and their grown up.
I provide everything you will need; from cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a box to take your awesome creations home in - I just need YOU! Each to-be-baker gets 6 cookies, 4 icing colors, sprinkles, and all the tools necessary to knock this cookie class out of the park! Everything is prepped right before class – so no baking or icing mixing required. Just decorate!
The class is on Saturday November 1st and starts at 12 noon sharp, so we can have enough time to decorate and answer questions along the way. Come by yourself, bring your best friend, or bring the family - we have space for up to 25 people! It's a blast whether you're coming with a friend, family member, or solo 🕷️
This class is good for ages 6+, but if you'd like to leave the kiddos at home, purchase an add-on kit (more on that below)! The kits are great for kids at home and you can practice a second time yourself or teach them yourself now you know the tips and tricks!
Nervous about the parking situation? Don’t be! There is plenty of free parking right outside the building.
Where to go?
Head into the coffee shop, go to the right and up the elevator. Once you exit, turn to your right and we'll be right there behind the glass doors!
Wondering what you need to bring to have a successful time decorating? Well – nothing’s required – but here’s the things we recommend if you’d like to elevate your experience!
* Bring an apron! Things can get messy when you’re workin’ with royal icing – so grab an apron (bonus points if it’s cute – I’ll definitely be asking where you got it).
* Bring your glasses! There’s a reference slide deck to help you decorate, but if things get blurry far away, seeing glasses may be a great bet.
* Bring your phone! I love it when students take pictures throughout class – so bring a phone!
* Bring a mask if you’d like! These classes follow the state health guidelines, but if you’d like to wear a mask throughout class – please do!
* Bring a good attitude! Cookies are fun, but they're also challenging! A good attitude makes all the difference.
