About this Event
Join us on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 7:00 AM for a relaxed, camera-in-hand walk through one of Central Park's most beautiful loops.
The walk is designed to flex your creative bone and let you practice being spontaneous and present with yourself with the restrictions of a brisk pace, 10 photos you need to take and not being able to see the outcome of those photos.
How creative can you be with 10 photos? What do you need to fulfill with these photos today? How wacky can you make your photos?
We'll start with a light stretch and breathwork and then set off on a scenic route that blends iconic landmarks with peaceful, lesser-known corners of the park, including fountains, bridges and a castle.
Each participant gets a disposable film camera to use along the way, no experience needed!
Feel free to bring a notebook to journal or do anything else you need to, to start your day right on one of the longer stops we will take on the walk!
We’ll end our route where we started, after one final push up the steps near the Bethesda Fountain. The best part? You get to keep your camera, packed with one-of-a-kind snapshots of your morning in the park with film still left in your camera to use as you wish!
Come walk, explore yourself and shoot the morning light!
