🎉 Join Us to Celebrate 7 Years of SPOKEN! 🎉

SPOKEN is turning 7, and we’re bringing together an incredible lineup for this milestone celebration!

For seven years, SPOKEN has championed creativity, connection, and social awareness, making this anniversary a true testament to the power of words and community.

This year, we’re thrilled to join forces with the Firebrand Poets Collective—a dynamic, diverse group of welcoming artists known for their radical, edgy, and accessible poetry. Firebrand Poets create an inclusive, intersectional, and intergenerational space where spoken word meets conscious awareness and social justice. Their performances are sure to inspire, provoke, and resonate with everyone in the room.

We’ll also have in the building, bringing their creative energy with sketches and theatrical performances! Together, we’ll reflect on our collaborative projects over the past year and share exciting plans for the future.

**OPEN MICERS**

Please sign your name on the list when you arrive from 19:30pm

You will have a 5 minute slot to perform your poem - your name will also be entered into a draw to receive a free ticket to perform or attend our next event!

You will also have the possibility to meet the collective and find out about how to join our expanding group of artists to help you develop!

*Please note, so that we can fit as many open micers in as possible we ask if you could perform just one poem, or two smaller poems that fit into the allocated 5 min slot.
